Well this definitely wasn’t the Paddys Day we had all been practising hard for and looking forward to over the last few weeks…

… but fear not being truly Irish at heart The Church does not accept defeat lying down.

‘This is our time and this is our test and, like generations before us, we will find a way through together…..’

It was great to be able to shine a small ray of light on the day by having the fabulous ‘City Band’ play a live Facebook set from the confines of their locked down villa – It wasn’t the bright lights of our Church stage but with their cheeky smiles, light hearted attitude and brilliant singing voice they still managed to showcase their considerable talents and brighten up a lot of peoples day by rolling out classics like ‘Dirty Old Town’ and ‘The wild Rover’.

We really look forward to being able to have the guys back and celebrate them the way they deserve with a full bar and even fuller glasses!!

We would just like to take the chance to thank all our dedicated staff, friends and Church family old and new and wish you all the very best for this Paddy’s Day – And please all stay safe during this difficult time

We will always look for a silver lining to a dark cloud like this and what this temporary shutdown does is, give us a chance to recharge our batteries and get prepared for a HUGEEEE reopening party!!!

May the leprechauns be near you, to spread luck along your way and may all the Irish angels, smile upon you on St. Patrick’s Day.” – Unknown.
