The Church is crafted from floor to ceiling with the love and care of genuine Irish hands.

The entire reform was carried out by local Irish builders and the amazing artwork that adorns the walls and free spaces were skilfully hand painted by a close family friend and artist that flew all the way over from Belfast especially to put his print on things. The Church is a traditional and authentic Irish bar – with an Irish owner, Irish staff and a genuine Irish feel to the atmosphere. Like most places similar there is a heavy emphasis on live music, ranging from overseas guest bands to house DJ’s and a regular Thursday night jam session where everyone who can play an instrument or sing is invited to get involved.

The church loves live sport and all major sporting events are screened on the 3 big TV’s, both inside and on the outside terrace.

One of the most eye catching features is the beautifully designed mural that stretches the length of the outside terrace wall – maybe you can have a free pint if you can name every one of the people included in the painting?! There are well known Spanish singers, world renowned musicians and some of Ireland’s most famous fighters all stood side by side – there was even enough space to be able to really personalise the piece with the owners own children and family members rubbing shoulders with the line-up of rich and famous.

Although The Church is of course an Irish bar that does not reflect on the clientele with lots of time and care spent in catering for guests of all ages and nationalities. The basis of all good Irish bars is a warm welcome, friendly bar staff, great music and lots of lovely booze and that is on offer in bucket loads here.

Our in house mixologist will happily whip you up one of our signature cocktails if you are feeling fruity and fancy tickling your taste buds with something a little different from the pints of black stuff – At The Church we put a huge emphasis on customer service, whatever it is that our guests desire, we will endeavour to deliver to them to highest possible standard.
