Live Sport Vision in the Church.

So what have we got going on in The Church? Live music – check, traditional belly warming grub – oh yes!!

Great Craic and bucket loads of the ‘black stuff’– Pffff standard ….. But also we absolutely love our live sport.

Being an Authentic Irish Bar in Albir it goes without saying we are obsessed with showing live sport – Carl our head barman is a huge Liverpool fan, it’s not his fault, he was brought up badly, he love’s nothing more than scanning the Premier League footy fixtures each week, picking out the big games and putting together out LIVE SPORTS schedule for the week which you can catch on our Facebook page @thechurchalbir.

We have spent lots of time over the last couple of years building and developing The Church aesthetically and atmospherically. Now, probably more than ever our focus falls on the challenge of pushing The Church to the top of the ‘Albir sports bar’ league.

With such a love of sport running through the core of the team it was only a matter of time before The Church VAR panel took a look at our sporting setup to make sure it is capable of a title challenge.

This next few months signifies the start of some major sporting events and competitions… The famous rugby 6 nation’s tourno’ starts this weekend (1st & 2nd of Feb) with 6 of the biggest European Rugby nations going to war on the field, The Grand National runs in April and of course there is the Euro 2020 just around the corner as well … 2020 is going to be a busy season!!

In the meantime we have ALL the Premier, Europa and Champions league action – Grab a pew and take a seat ringside for Anthony Joshua and Connor McGregor as they look to bulldoze all that stand in front of them.

There is new outdoor big screens planned for the summer – Drinks promotions – Multiple big screens inside – a great atmosphere and loads of likeminded sport lovers, all of this surely makes The terraces of The Church the best place to show your colours and cheer your team along.
